A ghost job is a posting that is filled, canceled, or never real. The big boards have no reason to remove it, because a dead listing still counts as a listing. It costs you the hour that you spent on the application. We check every job before you see it, and we put what we found on the card.

A posting that is months old and still on five boards is not open. We score the age of a job against the number of boards that carry it, and we say so on the card.
Some jobs say they are remote, but ask for three days in the office. We read the description and quote that line to you.
Some jobs have an entry-level title, but the description asks for three or more years of experience. The badge names the number.
This badge tells you if a staffing firm or the employer gets your resume. An agency is not the problem. The problem is not knowing.
When a board leaves the salary field empty, we look for pay in the posting text and show what it says, word for word.
If an employer posts one job again under three titles, we show one card and tell you about the reposts. When we find a dead link, we remove it.
